SEED & SEEDLINGS: SEEDLINGS

WHAT IS BETTER THAN THE TASTE OF HOME GROWN VEGETABLES?

The first early vegetables are in the shops in March, but home growers need to wait a little longer before they can harvest.
We carry a wide range of seedlings from March to August.
Endive, eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, courgettes, peppers, red cabbage, savoy cabbage, celery, lettuce, pointed cabbage, sprouts, tomatoes …

Our range also includes asparagus seedlings!

If you can’t wait to put some home grown vegetables on the table, start with some lettuce and cabbage plants.

You need to be careful, though. Always keep a close eye on the weather forecast. The seedlings can tolerate some cold, but they will need protection in case of fierce or persistent frost.

If you have a greenhouse, you can start planting earlier.
